Semiconductor Engineer

GS Group are supporting an exciting opportunity for a GaN Power Electronics Engineer for a key client based in central Europe.

The role will focus on GaN power device development, process integration, device layout and fabrication, working closely with external foundries and technology partners and internal engineering teams across device design, electrical testing, packaging and industrialisation.

Requirements:

• Experience working with GaN power semiconductor technologies and devices.
• Strong understanding of power semiconductor fabrication and process development.
• Experience with GaN device design, layout and/or process integration.
• Exposure to electrical characterisation and testing of power devices.
• Experience working with external fabs, foundries or technology partners.
• Ability to work across multidisciplinary R&D, device, packaging and engineering teams.
• Experience with HEMTs, power transistors, epitaxy or GaN-on-Si/GaN-on-SiC highly desirable.
