Senior ABAP Developer

Responsibilities

• You develop solutions in the SAP environment with a focus on ABAP OO (ERP 6.0 EHP8 on HANA), including business logic, interfaces, enhancements, and forms.
• You build applications based on the “ABAP Programming Model for SAP Fiori” and deliver modern, user-oriented solutions.
• You are responsible for designing technical specifications and shaping sustainable, custom SAP software architectures.
• You continuously evaluate technological trends and innovations and drive the evolution of development guidelines and suitable design patterns.
• You support your team in enhancing existing templates and ensure quality through testing, code reviews, documentation, as well as ongoing maintenance and support.

Qualifications

• A degree in computer science, business informatics, business administration, or a comparable qualification.
• Strong expertise in SAP development (ABAP/ABAP OO), including interface programming and enhancements (user exits, customer exits, BAdIs).
• Practical experience in one or more SAP modules (e.g., SD, MM, FI/CO, PP).
• Experience with modern SAP development approaches such as SAP RAP is an advantage.
• Solid German language skills (at least B2), strong communication skills, analytical thinking, a structured working style, and a high level of team and customer orientation.
