Senior Account Manager, Data Center – Colocations

Support Hitachi Energy customers, focusing on strategically important Data Center accounts
Build and expand customer relationships
Manage assigned accounts
Support sales target achievement
Maintain pipeline management activities
Lead strategic account planning efforts
Represent the full range of products, systems, and services offered to assigned customers
Coordinate account planning activities and address customer needs and expectations
Understand customers’ current business priorities and long-term plans
Identify and prioritize opportunities
Monitor market activity and develop responses to competitor activity
Contribute to products, systems, and services supporting power grid reliability and innovation
Participate in developing sales strategies
Define and propose sales targets and growth margins
Follow a structured process to support sales target achievement
Lead development and implementation of account plans
Design executive relationship strategies and coverage plans
Establish and develop customer relationships based on account strategies
Monitor competitor activity and support response strategies
Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, procedures, and guidelines

Requirements

Must already have work authorization permitting employment with Hitachi Energy in the United States
Master’s or bachelor’s degree
10 years’ experience in technical Sales, Engineering, Project Management, and/or Marketing
Experience working with clients in the Data Center market
Experience building and managing customer account relationships
Ability to travel up to 30%
Preferred work base locations are Denver, CO, TX, CA, AZ
