Senior Accountant General Ledger (m/f/x)

In this Senior Accountant General Ledger role, you own and reconcile ledgers for designated entities within a SAP S/4HANA environment, ensuring compliant German GAAP accounting and robust data quality. You lead month- and year-end closings, support audits, and drive automation across sub-systems. You manage complex structures and intercompany processes to underpin FINN's global growth. You will shape future-proof financial processes and partner with cross-functional teams to scale finance.

• Lead and reconcile general ledgers for designated entities under German GAAP (HGB)
• Drive monthly and annual closings; serve as expert for external audits and tax reviews
• Ensure data integrity between sub-systems and the general ledger; identify automation opportunities
• Manage complex structures, including ABS structures and receivables sales
• Streamline intercompany reconciliation and group-wide financial processes
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and internal policies; act as sparring partner to the team

• Extensive general ledger accounting experience, preferably in fintech, financial services, or fast-paced scale-ups
• Solid HGB knowledge; experience with complex financial instruments (e.g., ABS, receivables sales)
• Degree in business/finance or Bilanzbuchhalter IHK qualification
• ERP experience, preferably SAP S/4HANA; strong analytical and numbers-driven approach
• German language proficiency (min. B2) and professional English skills
• Experience collaborating with audits or tax reviews
