(Senior) Accountant (m/f/d)

As Senior Accountant, you will manage day-to-day accounting, support year-end audits, and ensure accurate financial reporting for RP Global's renewable energy portfolio. You will work with internal stakeholders, external auditors, tax advisors, and payroll providers to maintain compliant financial operations in a dynamic, international context. The role blends accounting, tax compliance, payroll coordination, and financial statement preparation to support the company’s energy transition goals. You’ll engage across finance and HR to drive timely closing, accuracy, and regulatory compliance, enabling sustainable growth.

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities and maintain bookkeeping records
• Prepare annual financial statements
• Coordinate and support year-end audits
• Process and record invoices in the accounting system
• Manage travel expenses and credit card reconciliations
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities
• Prepare monthly and quarterly VAT returns
• Support corporate income tax returns and liaise with external tax advisors
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations
• Liaise with external payroll providers and coordinate payroll documentation with HR
• Review payroll-related documents and support salary payment administration

• Experience in accounting, bookkeeping, financial reporting, or audit
• Knowledge of VAT and corporate tax processes
• Experience preparing financial statements and year-end accounts
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
• Experience within an international business environment is advantageous
