Senior Accountant (m/w/d) - Steuer und Buchhaltung

Kurita Group is currently looking for an experienced Senior Accountant (f/m/d) in Mannheim (hybrid). This role is reporting to the Finance Director at Kurita Europe.

Key responsibilities:

• Independently manage and oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB.
• Maintain strong financial controls, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous process improvement.
• Collaborate with six accounting colleagues based in Germany.
• Collaborate remotely with the senior finance leaders based in offices around Europe.

Job requirements:

• University degree in Finance, Accounting or related.
• Deep experience in finance and accounting or corporate tax-related roles in Germany.
• Excellent German and proficient English language skills.
• Excellent knowledge of the HGB.
• Accounting experience in a company with cross-border transactions within the EU.
• Experience with corporate income tax and indirect taxes (e.g. VAT) compliance/filings, and handling tax audits would be an advantage.
• Willingness to work in Kurita’s Mannheim office with flexible hybrid arrangements.
