This position is in the Office of Chemical Safety and Pollution Prevention, Office of Pollution Prevention and Toxics, Existing Chemicals Risk Management and New Chemicals Risk Management Division. About: Office of Chemical Safety & Pollution Prevention This is an office-centered position—you must physically report to one of the duty stations stated in this announcement on a regular basis (location TBD after candidate selected).

Major Duties

You will: Establish new regulatory approaches and develop uniform regulatory support infrastructure for the organizational unit to manage chemical risks under the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA). Advise stakeholders on chemical risk management issues to formulate and influence risk management policies, regulations, and products. Plan, develop, manage a uniform regulatory support infrastructure to ensure consistent application of approaches/policies to work products. Plan and conduct broad, long term policy analyses and make recommendations to decision makers to inform significant changes in program policy or direction.
