Your Role

AFC Governance lead and Quality Assurance.
Continuous advice on the enhancement of products for existing cooperation partners from the various business units.
Support with the on-boarding of new cooperation partners and products.
Assessing of Third Party Risk Assessment (TPRA) and Modification of Operational Processes and Structure (MOPS).
Preparation and implementation of training courses.
Monitoring the performance of cooperation partners with regard to AFC compliance issues and communication with the respective partner managers.
Extension of the documentation of processes.
Instruction and professional support for employees and cooperation partners.
Coordination of BaFin requests and Internal and/or External Auditors.
Preparation of Annual AFC Report, German ExCo report governance.

Extensive experience (5+ years) in anti-financial crime compliance within the financial services industry, with a focus on advisory and strategy development.
In-depth knowledge of German and EU regulations pertaining to anti-money laundering, sanctions, and fraud prevention.
Detailed expertise in fraud, sanctions and embargo related topics.
Proven track record of leading successful AFC initiatives, including risk assessments, policy development, and implementation of controls.
Experiences with local regulators is a plus.
Ability to work well under pressure, different priorities, and tight deadlines.
Professional certifications such as CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist) or ACAMS (Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists) preferred.
A good understanding of AI-driven solutions
Fluency in English and German languages skills is required.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements and assess their impact on business operations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
