Senior AI Adoption Consultant (m/f/d) - with salary details

As Senior AI Adoption Consultant, you drive sustainable AI adoption across Covestro, translating unit needs into adopted AI solutions and guiding cross-functional teams. You shape end-to-end AI initiatives, manage stakeholders, and partner with external vendors to realize measurable value. You’ll enable organizational transformation, build AI capability, and influence leadership on AI strategy within a global chemical company. • Identify AI opportunities across the organization from value hypotheses to end-to-end delivery
• Mobilize owners and senior stakeholders to initiate AI initiatives across functions
• Lead ideation, conception, and realization of AI projects using agile methods and design thinking
• Oversee handover quality between domain experts, technical teams, and operating units
• Design and execute AI adoption communication and engagement, enabling broad participation
• Manage external AI vendors and consultancies from delivery to knowledge transfer
• Design and deliver training standards and curricula for AI adoption
• Coach and develop less senior colleagues and establish best practices and documentation standards

• University degree (preferably Master or PhD) in AI, CS, business/administration, innovation or technology management, or organizational development
• 7+ years of relevant international experience including leading AI or transformation projects
• Familiarity with generative, agentic, and analytical/predictive AI; deep technical implementation not required
• Proven experience leading organizational transformation and change
• Excellent communication, persuasion, and influencing skills at all organizational levels
• Genuine curiosity and hands-on exploration of new AI with risk awareness
• Cultural agility and ability to build relationships in a multicultural environment
• Fluent English; strong German (written and spoken)
