Senior Analytical Consultant Finance & Payment (m/f/d)

In this role you will deliver data-driven analytics for client projects in credit risk, fraud detection and customer intelligence. You will work within the Customer Analytics team to turn large datasets into actionable insights and build ML models, supporting pre-sales and driving innovation. You collaborate across Sales, Product Development and Marketing to embed analytics in client solutions. This is a hybrid role based in Düsseldorf or Frankfurt, offering autonomy and opportunities to shape outcomes for financial services clients.

• Analyze large and diverse datasets to derive decision-support insights in credit risk, fraud analytics, and customer behavior
• Develop advanced statistical models and machine learning solutions for complex client challenges
• Guide pre-sales efforts by assessing client needs and shaping tailored concepts, including proof-of-concept projects
• Collaborate with Sales, Product Development and Marketing to integrate analytics into client solutions
• Strengthen client relationships and support business development initiatives

• University degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field
• +5 years of hands-on data analytics or analytical consulting experience in credit risk, fraud analytics, or marketing analytics
• 4+ years of experience with banking regulatory requirements in financial services/payments
• 4+ years of experience with statistical modeling, machine learning, and data mining
• 4+ years of experience with Python or similar programming languages and PySpark
• 4+ years of experience with cloud-based data and analytics platforms and data visualization tools
• Fluent in German and English
