Senior Application Engineer (m/f/d)

Overview

In this role you will integrate V93000 test systems into customer environments and develop SoC test solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to transfer designs into high-volume manufacturing, debug, optimize methods, and deliver trainings. You will consult customers on test strategies and help drive product improvements, ensuring strong technical and commercial impact. This is a hands-on, global, customer-facing position that shapes test solutions and supports complex projects.

Verantwortungsbereiche

Integrate V93000 semiconductor test systems into customer environments
Develop, debug and optimize SoC test solutions on V93000 platform
Create customer-specific test software and hardware such as test methods, libraries, load boards and probe cards
Manage transfer of semiconductor products from design into high-volume manufacturing
Create project plans for complex projects and track progress
Consult customer test engineers during development, debugging, correlation and ramp-up
Enable participation in customer business processes and advise on decision workflows
Deliver customer trainings and workshops
Collect and evaluate customer requirements for product improvements and new developments

Zentrale Anforderungen

University Degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent
Relevant experience in semiconductor test business
Proven experience in SoC testing for HPC and/or mixed signal and/or RF ASICs
Experience with Advantest V93000 tester platform (preferred)
Experience with C/C++ or Java (preferred)
Experience in schematic and layout design of complex PCB boards (preferred)
Good communication and presentation skills for internal and customer-facing activities
Ability to lead projects / project management skills
Ability to work in global project teams and under pressure
Driver license and willingness to travel
Fluent English mandatory and German language skills
