Senior Asset Manager (Retail Parks)

We are partnering with an established international real estate investment and asset management platform to appoint an experienced Senior Asset Manager for its office in Munich .

This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a portfolio of retail parks across Germany, working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive asset performance, enhance value, and execute long-term asset strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic asset management plans to maximize the value and performance of a portfolio of retail parks.
• Prepare and execute annual business plans, budgets, forecasts, and hold/sell recommendations.
• Drive leasing and asset enhancement initiatives in collaboration with leasing teams and external advisors.
• Identify and implement value creation opportunities, including refurbishments, repositioning projects, and capital expenditure programs.
• Monitor financial performance, asset KPIs, and market developments to ensure investment objectives are achieved.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants, property managers, investors, and service providers.
• Lead lease negotiations, renewals, restructurings, and other commercial initiatives.
• Support acquisitions, disposals, refinancing, and due diligence processes where required.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient execution of asset management strategies.

Your Profile

• 5–10+ years of experience in real estate asset management.
• Proven track record managing retail parks, shopping centres, or large-format retail assets .
• Strong understanding of leasing strategies, tenant relations, and retail asset performance.
• Excellent financial, commercial, and analytical skills with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and business planning.
• Confident communicator with strong negotiation and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage multiple assets simultaneously.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Fluent in German and English .
