(Senior) Associate - Corporate Finance

Senior Associate (m/f/d) - Corporate Finance / M&A

Location: Munich, Frankfurt, Hamburg

Responsibilities

• Support coverage within DACH and EMEA markets across various sectors, i.e. Consumer, Travel & Leisure, TMT, Business Services, Healthcare & Life Sciences, Industrials, Energy, Real Estate
• Conduct in-depth financial and strategic analysis of sectors and companies within respective industries
• Assist in the development and preparation of marketing materials, pitch presentations, and transaction documents
• Participate in due diligence efforts and process management, including data gathering, analysis, and synthesis of findings
• Collaborate closely with senior team members to support deal origination and execution activities
• Contribute to the valuation process, including the use of financial modelling techniques and tools

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in investment banking / similar roles
• Strong financial modelling, analytical and presentation skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment
• Strong understanding of M&A processes, deal structures, and financial analysis techniques
• Detail‑oriented, proactive, and adaptable to a fast‑paced, dynamic, growth‑focused environment
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
• Willingness to develop and ability to learn quickly
• Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields
• Fluency in German and English is required
