Senior Associate (European Competition practice) - m/f/d

In this Senior Associate role within CRA's European Competition practice, you apply advanced economic methods to high-profile competition cases, delivering evidence-based analyses and client-ready insights. You work closely with senior consultants and industry experts to shape opinions, models, and deliverables. You will handle data-driven analyses, build tailored economic models, and mentor junior staff while communicating complex concepts to non-experts. • Conduct analyses and gather data to support expert opinions and business recommendations
• Perform regression analyses using econometric tools on large datasets with cloud computing
• Construct economic models tailored to issues at hand to back recommendations
• Contribute to client deliverables such as expert reports and white papers
• Interact with clients, translating complex economic concepts for non-experts
• Manage and mentor junior staff
• Ensure integrity and accuracy of analyses and opinions
• Participate in practice-building activities (training, recruiting, publication, expertise sharing)

• PhD in economics from a well-regarded institution with strong microeconomics foundation, preferably industrial economics or econometrics; Master of Economics with 3+ years in economic consulting or with a competition authority is acceptable for non-PhD applicants
