The Team

This role sits within the EMEA Corporate Transformation Services (CTS) team, which advises clients on improving profitability, managing crises, and driving sustainable operational and financial performance improvements. The CTS team supports clients across various sectors, for example automotive, chemicals, manufacturing, retail, tech, consumer, working with upper medium‑sized businesses and international corporations.

How You Will Contribute

  • Project Management & Execution – manage workstreams in Deals‑related transformation projects, coordinating closely with client stakeholders and project teams to ensure successful execution and measurable results.
  • Portfolio Measures – support the identification, development and evaluation of strategic portfolio options in buy‑side and sell‑side situations, including acquisitions, divestitures and corporate reorganizations.
  • Carve‑out & Separation Management – support clients and project teams in complex carve‑out situations, including separation planning, Day‑1 readiness, TSA management and standalone operating model implementation.
  • Post‑Merger Integration – contribute to integration programmes through synergy tracking, integration planning, governance support and execution of integration roadmaps.
  • Transformation & Value Creation – help clients identify and implement operational improvement initiatives and value creation opportunities arising from transaction and transformation programmes.

Qualifications

  • An excellent university degree and advanced analytical skills.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a leading international consultancy or similar environment; exposure to Deals‑related projects is highly desirable.
  • Solid understanding of key transaction‑related transformation topics such as M&A, carve‑outs, post‑merger integration, restructuring and value creation initiatives.
  • Good financial acumen with hands‑on experience in business planning and financial modelling.
  • Experience supporting and/or taking ownership of workstreams in projects, with an interest in further developing leadership responsibility.
  • Strong execution mindset with a focus on delivering high‑quality results and continuously improving in project environments.
  • Collaborative and proactive working style, combined with well‑developed communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Business fluent in German and English; additional language skills are a plus.
