The Team

A&M EMEA Corporate Finance (“CF”) is a multinational division within the firm that works with founders, entrepreneurs, financial investors, and market-leading corporations, operating businesses across a variety of industries globally. Key services include Mergers and Acquisitions Advisory, Capital Raising Advisory, and Strategic Advisory. The team focuses on EMEA coverage and currently operates out of offices in the United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Germany, Switzerland, Spain, Italy and Dubai in a rapidly growing team.

How you will contribute

1. Support coverage within DACH and EMEA markets across various sectors, i.e. Consumer, Travel & Leisure, TMT, Business Services, Healthcare & Life Sciences, Industrials, Energy, Real Estate
2. Conduct in-depth financial and strategic analysis of sectors and companies within respective industries
3. Assist in the development and preparation of marketing materials, pitch presentations, and transaction documents
4. Participate in due diligence efforts and process management, including data gathering, analysis, and synthesis of findings
5. Collaborate closely with senior team members to support deal origination and execution activities
6. Contribute to the valuation process, including the use of financial modelling techniques and tools

Qualifications:

1. Relevant experience in investment banking / similar roles
2. Strong financial modelling, analytical and presentation skills –
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
4. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
5. Strong understanding of M&A processes, deal structures, and financial analysis techniques
6. Detail-oriented, proactive, and adaptable to a fast paced, dynamic, growth-focused environment
7. Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
8. Willingness to develop and ability to learn quickly
9. Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields
10. Fluency in German and English is required
