In this role you oversee safe operation, testing and commissioning of LV/MV electrical systems on a Frankfurt data centre project. You work closely with senior peers, energy marshalls and the commissioning team to enforce electrical safety, manage permits and support energisation activities. You’ll apply high‑voltage/medium‑voltage expertise in a hands‑on, mission‑critical environment. This position blends technical execution with safety leadership in a large European data centre build.

• Enforce ESSOW and Hazardous Energies procedures
• Issue, approve and manage LV/MV permits
• Conduct LOTO and permit-to-work controls
• Perform audits, inspections and safety reporting
• Assist in internal audits and site safety; monitor PPE
• Support Senior APs to ensure safety compliance
• Perform testing, commissioning and energisation of MV/LV systems
• Review drawings and vendor manuals; interpret schematics
• Coordinate switching schedules with Energy Marshall and SAP
• Sign off energisation after pre-energisation checks
• Participate in Level 1–Level 5 commissioning activities
• Maintain records in snagging/progress systems
• Report electrical events to SAP/CxA; provide progress updates
• Provide guidance to project engineers and site supervisors

• Qualified electrician (National Craft Certificate or equivalent Level 6 qualification)
• Minimum 3+ years’ MV experience; LV experience preferred
• Completed MV/HV switching course if nominated as MV AP
• Strong knowledge of electrical testing, verification and commissioning
• Proven HV/MV infrastructure project delivery experience (data centres, DNO/IDNO, or power facilities)
• Knowledge of EN and local electrical regulations and standards
• Experience supervising advanced cable works, phasing, testing and spiking (licenced)
