Senior Azure Architect (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities

• Design and implement secure, scalable, and resilient cloud architectures for complex enterprise environments
• Drive the adoption of security best practices across software development, infrastructure, and operations teams
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define and deliver cloud and security strategies aligned with business objectives
• Establish and continuously improve DevSecOps processes, automation frameworks, and CI/CD standards
• Lead the design and optimization of hybrid cloud infrastructures and cloud-native platforms
• Define and enforce security controls for applications, networks, and containerized environments
• Support risk assessments, security reviews, and compliance initiatives to strengthen the organization's security posture
• Develop architectural blueprints, technical concepts, and solution designs for new and existing systems
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions to enhance reliability, performance, and security
• Act as a trusted technical advisor for cloud architecture, cybersecurity, and platform engineering topics

Your profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in Cloud Architecture, Security Engineering, DevSecOps, or a similar role
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure and modern cloud operating models
• Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Solid understanding of cloud security principles, identity and access management, and Zero Trust architectures
• Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code solutions
• Knowledge of modern software development practices and secure application lifecycle management
• Familiarity with security governance, compliance frameworks, and risk management processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills combined with a structured way of working
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Fluent English language skills for internal and external communication
