Senior Backend Developer (m/f/d) C# | Java

In this role you will drive the development of innovative backend software within BEUMER Group, shaping AI-enabled engineering practices. You will lead feature development, mentor engineers, and influence architectural decisions across cross-functional teams. You’ll apply modern AI tools and agent frameworks to accelerate software delivery and quality. This is a hands-on leadership role at scale, focused on delivering value through robust design and collaboration.

• Break down complex designs into modular implementations
• Lead development of new features, solo or with small teams
• Ensure software quality via architecture reviews, coding standards, and best practices
• Analyze, design, prototype, and validate new product ideas and solutions
• Identify optimization opportunities and improve processes
• Serve as a technical mentor to developers
• Evaluate and implement AI tools and agent frameworks to boost workflows
• Collaborate with stakeholders to promote AI-driven approaches

• Several years of professional software development experience with a track record of delivering software solutions
• Strong understanding of software design, architecture patterns, and modern practices
• Experience with Agile methodologies and cross-functional collaboration
• Solid skills in estimation, prototyping, decision-making, and solution architecture
• Experience evaluating AI-powered development tools and applying AI technologies
• Knowledge of agent-based AI frameworks is highly desirable
