Senior Backend Engineer (m/f/x)

Tasks

• You develop our AWS backend architecture,
• You implement efficient Lambdas using various frameworks,
• You introduce modern testing strategies (unit, integration, end-to-end tests),
• You optimize performance and scalability (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB caching),
• You ensure and further develop professional development and documentation standards with the team (Poetry, GitHub Actions, Confluence),
• You maintain the interface between our products, the account system, and the desktop software,
• You work closely with frontend developers, AI engineers, QA engineers, product managers, and UX/UI designers,
• You are used to working in an agile environment and contribute to a collaborative team culture.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in backend development with Python,
• You also have extensive experience with TypeScript / JavaScript,
• Boto3, or similar technologies,
• Confident use of frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, Flask, or similar,
• Solid experience with databases like PostgreSQL, SQL, DynamoDB, ORM, or similar,
• Extensive knowledge of AWS (Lambdas, S3, or other services) or other cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, GCP), with a willingness to dive deep into AWS,
• Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions and dependency management (Poetry, UV, PIP, or similar),
• Experience with test automation and agile development (Scrum/Kanban),
• Knowledge in software performance and scalability, as well as in implementing design patterns,
• A high level of initiative, communication skills, assertiveness, and confident teamwork.
