Senior Backend Software Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs for medical software solutions
• Responsible for backend architecture and actively evolving robust, high-performance systems
• Build and optimize secure RESTful APIs (HTTP/OpenAPI) and implement authentication mechanisms (OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT)
• Design and manage efficient data models using relational databases such as PostgreSQL
• Implement containerization and orchestration solutions (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) for scalable deployments
• Monitor and continuously improve system performance using modern observability tools (logging, tracing, monitoring)
• Maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines, build tooling, and test infrastructure
• Ensure high code quality through reviews, testing, and best practices across the codebase
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as Frontend, Hardware, and Regulatory Affairs
• Contribute to technological decisions and the long-term architectural vision of our backend systems

Requirements

• Several years of hands‑on experience in backend software development
• Proficient with at least one object‑oriented programming language
• Fluent English skills for professional team communication
• Solid experience with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL
• Experience with or interest in containerization and orchestration technologies
• Experience designing and developing secure HTTP APIs
• Strong understanding of authentication and authorization standards
• Collaborative mindset for cross-discipline work across hardware and software
• High degree of technical ownership and quality awareness in code
• Analytical approach to solving complex architectural challenges
• Experience in medical device/software development is a plus
