The Senior Business Analyst is a senior role responsible to translate business requirements into solution designs, focusing on optimization and implementation for our core payments processing systems.
We are seeking for a Senior Business Analyst with outstanding expertise across payments processing infrastructures, both for STP and manual processing scope, with main focus on our core processing platform Payments 2.0. You are responsible for initiatives to design payments processing functionalities, enhancing our existing Payments 2.0 processing framework and bridging between client‑ and WL‑based components, to obtain a well‑functioning, robust, and high‑performance end‑to‑end processing infrastructure for the serviced clients. Special focus will be on enhancement of our existing payments processing core system Payments 2.0, to ensure seamless daily payments business for our clients.
This role involves in‑depth and long‑term knowhow on payments processing frameworks and the ambition to design highly efficient functional enhancements in cooperation with other senior roles like architects, developers, and tester – all internal as well as external to WL.
The Senior Business Analyst collaborates closely with stakeholders at the client side or WL own operating units to understand business needs, drives continuous improvement, and ensures successful implementation of the technical solutions.
Maintaining both stability of the daily business and driving future optimizations are the key focus areas. The position asks for a professional technical expert acknowledging the criticality of the business for the customer. Your in‑depth knowledge of the European payments processing schemes and the WL Payments 2.0 application framework will be a fundamental basis for this opportunity.
The bandwidth of the needs skillset covers the entire Payments 2.0 functional stack as well as strong communication skills to interact with various stakeholders, internal and external to WL.
