Senior Business Development Manager - Financial Services & Banking (m/f/d)

We're looking for a Senior Business Development Manager – Financial Services & Banking (m/f/d) to join our team in Frankfurt am Main, Germany in a hybrid working mode.

Responsibilities

• Own new logo acquisition within the Financial Services (Banking) sector to drive net-new revenue growth
• Identify and convert whitespace opportunities across existing or underdeveloped accounts
• Build and execute sector-specific account penetration strategies aligned to client priorities
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, including C-suite and VP levels
• Leverage market insights and industry trends to create compelling client propositions
• Lead the entire sales lifecycle from prospecting and qualification through to deal closure
• Generate pipeline through targeted outreach, campaigns and industry events
• Represent EPAM at forums and networks to strengthen presence within the Financial Services industry
• Position EPAM capabilities in digital transformation, data, cloud and AI in a relevant business context
• Ensure robust pipeline discipline, accurate forecasting and timely reporting

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in IT sales or business development with a strong focus on Financial Services (Banking) clients
• Proven record of winning new logos and expanding whitespace within accounts
• Strong understanding of Financial Services market dynamics, challenges and transformation drivers
• Experience closing complex, multi-service or consulting-led solutions
• Ability to build pipeline from scratch and deliver against net-new targets
• Established executive-level network within the Banking sector
• Experience engaging and influencing C-level stakeholders in large enterprises
• Bachelor's degree in business, technology or a related field
• AI-driven mindset, with an interest in applying AI to sales strategy and client engagement
• German and English language skills are required for this role
