Senior Business Development Manager - Healthcare & Life Sciences (Medtech) (m/f/d)

We're looking for a Senior Business Development Manager - Healthcare & Life Sciences (Medtech) (m/f/d) to join our team in Frankfurt am Main, Berlin or Munich, Germany in a hybrid working mode.

In this role, you will drive new logo acquisition and expand whitespace opportunities within the Healthcare & Life Sciences (Medtech) sector. You will operate as a market-facing industry expert, leveraging deep knowledge of sector trends and convert new enterprise clients. You will position EPAM as a trusted strategic partner for digital transformation initiatives, customer experience, data and AI solutions.

This is a high-impact role requiring strong consultative selling skills and the ability to shape industry-driven propositions that deliver tangible business value.

Responsibilities

• Own new logo acquisition within the Healthcare & Life Sciences (Medtech) sector to drive net-new revenue growth
• Identify and unlock whitespace opportunities within existing and underdeveloped accounts
• Build and execute industry-focused penetration strategies targeting high-priority clients
• Develop strong relationships with C-suite and VP-level stakeholders in the Medtech segment
• Use industry insights and trends to shape compelling client propositions
• Lead the full sales lifecycle from prospecting and qualification through closure
• Proactively generate pipeline through targeted outreach, campaigns and industry events
• Represent EPAM at forums and networks to strengthen brand presence in the Medtech market
• Position EPAM’s capabilities in digital transformation, cloud, data and AI solutions tailored to client needs
• Maintain disciplined pipeline management, accurate forecasting and reporting

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in IT sales or business development with a strong focus on Healthcare & Life Sciences (Medtech)
• Proven track record in new logo acquisition and whitespace expansion within sector-specific accounts
• Deep understanding of Healthcare & Life Sciences market dynamics and transformation drivers
• Experience selling complex, multi-service or consulting-led digital engagements
• Strong ability to build pipeline from scratch and deliver against revenue targets
• Established network of senior stakeholders within Medtech organizations
• Strong experience engaging with C-level executives in enterprise environments
• Bachelor’s degree in business, technology or related field
• German and English language skills are required for this role

Nice to have

• Knowledge of emerging healthcare technologies such as AI, big data and cloud solutions
• Experience working with cloud providers and hyperscalers is preferred.
• Experience leading transformation advisory initiatives within Medtech enterprises
