A cutting-edge technology company in the Munich area is looking for an experienced Senior C++ Software Developer with a strong Computer Graphics background to help build next-generation XR and visualization solutions used in real industrial environments.

This is an opportunity for engineers who enjoy solving complex technical challenges, designing scalable software architectures, and working on high-performance graphics applications—not gaming.

Your Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-performance software in modern C++
• Build advanced rendering and visualization features for XR applications
• Develop and optimize graphics pipelines using modern rendering technologies
• Design scalable software architectures with a strong focus on maintainability and performance
• Work on complex technical challenges involving 3D visualization, rendering and immersive technologies
• Collaborate closely with experienced engineers in an international development team
• Contribute to technical discussions, architectural decisions and future product direction

Your Profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
• 5+ years of professional C++ software development experience
• Strong background in Computer Graphics
• Hands-on experience with: OpenGL, OpenXR or Volume Rendering
• Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns and clean engineering practices
• Senior engineering mindset with the ability to solve complex technical problems independently
• Passion for writing high-quality, maintainable and performant code
• Happy to work primarily on-site in the Munich area

Nice to Have

• Experience with visualization or XR technologies
• Cross-platform development (Windows, Android or Linux)
• Experience working with high-performance rendering pipelines
• Knowledge of modern graphics APIs or GPU programming
