THE ROLE

Senior Category Manager, Men’s EU

We are seeking a data‑driven, product‑obsessed all‑rounder to support merchandising strategy across selected menswear categories in the UK & EU. This role reports to the Head of Merchandising, Men’s UK and is critical to scaling Quince’s value proposition by delivering a compelling regional assortment, optimizing the customer experience and partnering across functions to bring high‑quality products to market.

Responsibilities

  • Support end‑to‑end merchandising for selected menswear categories in the UK & EU, including assortment execution, launches and performance tracking.
  • Execute regional merchandising strategy with US product merchandising and international peers.
  • Contribute to product ideation, shaping new product opportunities and business cases.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with product, regional merchandising, planning, marketing, technical design and sourcing to deliver successful launches, balancing inventory, go‑to‑market execution and product quality.
  • Analyse trading performance (sales, returns, margin) and drive actions to improve results.
  • Support pricing and assortment decisions for the region.
  • Own product catalogue management and administration, including product setup, data accuracy and system maintenance.
  • Build site merchandising strategy, including PDP improvements roadmap and customer journey optimisations.
  • Monitor ratings, reviews and returns to identify and support product quality improvements.
  • Manage regional product samples and merchandising assets.
  • Maintain merchandising reports, tools, trackers and pricing files.
  • Own evaluation of regional product compliance requirements and partner with sourcing and quality teams to execute.

Qualifications

  • Role based in one of our UK/EU offices (London, Madrid, or Berlin) with a requirement of 4 days per week in‑office.
  • Eight years of retail merchandising or buying experience in menswear with demonstrated ownership of category performance.
  • Experience in e‑commerce and/or DTC, with exposure to startups and blue‑chip brands preferred.
  • Proven track record of progression and continuous growth in roles and responsibilities.
  • Strong product awareness, commercial mindset and attention to detail.
  • Product obsession, leveraging data tools and external sources to drive results.
  • A critical eye for anticipating customer needs, balancing science and art of merchandising.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using data (sales, margin, returns) to inform decisions.
  • Ability to operate effectively in both executional and strategic roles.
  • Experience working cross‑functionally with planning, design, sourcing or marketing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation and interpersonal skills; ability to influence through concise narrative.
  • Motivated to thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment with flexibility to stretch into functional comfort zones.
  • Adaptability and comfort with ambiguity and change.
  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferred).

Pay Range: £80,000-£100,000 (Base salary; may vary by experience and location. Bonus and equity may be provided for eligible roles.)
