Senior Cloud Architect – Data Studio Berlin

Responsibilities

• Lead and design cloud architectures for customers, focusing on Microsoft Azure.
• Advise companies on development and implementation of their cloud strategies, including cloud migrations and integrations.
• Design and document technical solutions, ensuring highest performance, scalability and security in the Azure environment.
• Perform architecture assessments and technical audits to ensure solutions meet best practices and industry standards.
• Collaborate with customers to understand business needs and design customized cloud solutions.
• Provide leadership to technical teams and assist in the technical development of junior architects.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable qualification.
• Extensive experience designing and developing cloud architectures, preferably with a focus on Microsoft Azure.
• At least three years of stakeholder management and direct external client contact in a consulting environment, with a focus on automotive or e‑commerce sector.
• Strong expertise in creating architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and best‑practice recommendations.
• Experience in a technical lead role, guiding projects or workstreams and steering teams.
• Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Hands‑on experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams to align technical solutions with business requirements.
• In‑depth knowledge of Azure services such as Azure Virtual Network, Azure App Services, Azure Kubernetes Service and Azure Identity Services.
• Strong understanding of cloud security concepts, Identity and Access Management (IAM) and data protection.
• Full professional proficiency in German and English (C1 level minimum).
• Desirable certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or equivalent.
• Proactive and solution‑oriented mindset with the ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
