Senior Cloud Backend Software Engineer

Senior Cloud Backend Software Engineer (Cloud): Developing API flows and integrating capabilities from major cloud providers to build and optimize cloud-based solutions for Redis cluster infrastructure with an accent on flexibility and scalability. Focus on creating scalable and resilient architecture and developing automated cloud infrastructure management systems.

Location: Hybrid, within EMEA.

What you will do

• Develop API flows using Python to provision, query, and optimize cloud infrastructure.
• Integrate capabilities from major cloud providers into the Redis solution for enhanced flexibility and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create scalable and resilient architecture.
• Develop an automated cloud infrastructure management system and tools.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of software development experience with Python/Go or other OOP languages.
• Experience working with cloud providers, with an advantage for those experienced with AWS and GCP.
• Proficiency with Docker and container orchestration platforms, preferably Kubernetes.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with leading Python web API frameworks such as Flask or FastAPI.
