Senior Cloud Engineer

Stellenbeschreibung:

Design and build cloud-native infrastructure powering the football content supply chain from live production to global distribution
Make architectural decisions and drive complex system integrations
Automate media production workflows from transcoding and localisation to content distribution
Build APIs and data pipelines across systems and own the end-to-end media supply chain
Drive code quality, testing, observability, and DevSecFinOps practices
Establish agentic AI development practices for the team and organisation
Mentor junior and regular engineers toward product-oriented, AI-assisted ways of working

Requirements

5+ years of hands‑on experience as a Cloud Engineer or in a comparable role
Deep practical experience with AWS Serverless services, including Lambda, Step Functions, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and S3
Proficiency in TypeScript as the primary development language
Proven experience with Infrastructure-as-Code, such as AWS CDK or comparable tools
Solid understanding of event‑driven and eventual consistency architecture patterns
Experience building robust APIs and integrations between heterogeneous systems
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and toolchains such as Bitbucket Pipelines
Clear communication with technical and non‑technical stakeholders
Openness to shaping AI‑assisted development practices
Bonus: experience with media‑adjacent workflows such as transcoding, AWS Elemental Services, or localisation pipelines
Bonus: first hands‑on experience with generative or agentic AI solutions
