Senior Cloud Ops Engineer m/f/d

In this role you ensure the ATOSS Cloud Solution runs reliably across Azure and T Cloud Public, handling both managed services and self-hosted components. You will shape CI/CD and IaC practices, automate recurring tasks, and contribute to AI infrastructure and operations. You’ll collaborate with R&D, Cloud Architecture, Security, and COS engineers to improve reliability and scalability. This is a hands-on, impact-driven position in a fast-growing B2B SaaS environment. • Operate and maintain Azure and T Cloud Public services, including self-hosted components on Kubernetes (AKS) and VMs
• Own backup/restore processes using Velero and cloud-native options
• Manage identity and streaming services (Keycloak, Kafka) for secure, event-driven use cases
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps and drive IaC/GitOps provisioning
• Develop scripts/tools to automate recurring tasks (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
• Deploy and operate AI services (Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI) and monitor AI components as production services
• Troubleshoot performance and reliability issues, define SLIs/SLOs, and contribute to observability
• Enforce security, compliance, and cost control across environments
• Apply AI-assisted tooling for diagnostics and routine operations, involving Security and Data Protection when AI touches operational data
• Collaborate with R&D, Cloud Architecture, Security, and COS engineers; maintain up-to-date documentation

• Several years of hands-on production cloud operations experience in Azure and/or T Cloud Public, preferably in SaaS
• Experience deploying and maintaining a wide range of Azure services, both managed and self-hosted
• Strong Linux and container expertise (Docker, Kubernetes; AKS preferred), with stateful workloads
• CI/CD experience, especially pipelines as code in Azure DevOps
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and GitOps experience
• Scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell) and automation habit
• Hands-on with Kafka, Keycloak, Redis, PostgreSQL, Velero
• Solid troubleshooting, networking and security basics (TLS, RBAC, secrets management)
• Interest in operating AI infrastructure and services; clear communicator with technical and non-technical colleagues
