Senior Consultant – Capital Markets Specialist

Depending on your seniority, you will support or take responsibility for strategy and implementation projects on-site with the client
You support the project manager in project management
Your responsibilities also include research on market- and project-relevant topics
Together with the team, you prepare and refine project and sales materials
As a Senior Consultant you demonstrate uncompromising commitment to the client’s objectives, combined with a strong solution- and execution-orientation
Independent working, paired with high motivation and a strong commitment to quality, is a matter of course for you

Requirements

University degree, ideally in economics/business administration, business informatics, mathematics or engineering, or an equivalent qualification
Several of the following capital markets-related skills: financial instruments (equities, bonds, swaps and derivatives, FX / money markets, repos / securities lending, certificates, warrants, funds and ETFs)
Operations activities (reconciliation, clearing & settlement, collateral management, risk management, regulatory reporting and internal reporting)
Regulations and supervisory law (e.g., MiFID II, MiFIR)
Process analysis and optimization
Functional and test design as well as requirements management
Systems and data architectures at banks, in particular trading, middle- or back-office systems
Project management and project control
Willingness to continuously take on new challenges in a consulting environment
Ability to think in a structured and analytical way
Solid, relevant professional experience in strategic, operational, IT and process-related matters in the financial services sector, as well as excellent industry knowledge
Enjoyment of teamwork and working with people
A certain willingness to travel and flexibility are a matter of course for you
Proficient MS Office skills and very good written and spoken English complete your profile
