Senior Consultant - Digital Commerce (Retail & CPG) | DACH

As Senior Consultant – Digital Commerce, you will help grow the Retail & CPG practice by translating business challenges into technology solutions. You will lead discovery workshops, shape consulting engagements, and work with sales and technical teams to design end-to-end digital commerce solutions. You play a key role in advising on platforms, integrations, and customer experience while staying current with market trends in the DACH region. This hands-on role combines advisory, technical insight, and pre-sales activity to drive growth and transformation.

• Advise clients on e-commerce, digital customer experience, personalization, data and technology transformation
• Translate requirements into solution concepts, roadmaps, and target architectures
• Lead discovery sessions and solution design workshops with business and IT stakeholders
• Advise on integration of commerce platforms, CDPs, marketing tech, PIM, OMS and related systems
• Collaborate with sales and pre-sales to identify opportunities, develop proposals and shape engagements
• Stay informed on DACH retail trends, marketplace dynamics, and evolving customer expectations
• Develop reusable consulting assets such as reference architectures, solution frameworks, and go-to-market offerings
• Build relationships with senior decision-makers (CDOs, CMOs, CIOs, Heads of E-commerce)
• Collaborate with regional/global tech teams to grow the Retail & CPG practice
• Represent the company at client meetings, industry events, and networking opportunities

• At least 5 years in e-commerce or digital commerce, preferably in Retail & CPG
• Background in IT consulting, digital transformation, systems integration, or digital commerce consulting
• Technical-functional understanding of e-commerce platforms, data flows, and customer-facing solutions
• Experience gathering requirements, running workshops, and delivering solution recommendations
• Familiarity with pre-sales and cross-functional collaboration with sales teams
• Understanding of the DACH retail/CPG market, including GDPR considerations
• Ability to communicate complex tech concepts to business and technical stakeholders
• Professional fluency in German and English
• Willingness to travel ~30–40% across the region
