Senior Consultant (m/f/d) Energy Infrastructure Project Development & Delivery

In this role you drive energy infrastructure projects end-to-end across BESS, solar, and grid-connected storage. You collaborate with developers, utilities, EPCs, and suppliers to translate client goals into delivery roadmaps, tender specs, and execution plans. You assess pipelines, permitting, budgets, and risks while shaping technology strategy and business cases for investable projects. You help build P3’s market position through offering development and client-facing engagements in a fast-growing energy sector. This role blends engineering, project development, and consulting in a dynamic market.

• Lead energy infrastructure projects across BESS, solar, hybrid renewables, grid-connected storage, charging infrastructure, and utility-scale power systems
• Guide clients from site assessment through RTB, procurement, EPC contracting, construction management, commissioning, COD, and handover
• Analyze project pipelines, permitting status, supplier setups, EPC interfaces, budget assumptions, schedules, risks, and decision points
• Contribute to technology strategy assessments, project business cases, due diligence, bankability reviews, benchmarks, decision papers, and client presentations
• Translate client goals into project requirements, execution roadmaps, tender documents, EPC specifications, interface matrices, risk registers, and milestone plans
• Work on BESS system design, PCS/inverters, transformers, EMS/SCADA, civil and electrical BoP, fire safety, HSE, grid codes, permitting, contracting models, and supplier ecosystems
• Manage stakeholders across developers, IPPs, utilities, grid operators, authorities, EPCs, OEMs, investors, suppliers, engineering teams, and client management
• Contribute to P3’s offering development, business development, proposals, account growth, and strategic positioning in energy infrastructure project development and delivery

• Bachelor in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Renewable Energy, Business Engineering, or comparable field
• several years of practical experience in BESS, solar, renewable energy, grid infrastructure, EPC management, project development, technical consulting, utilities, infrastructure investment, or systems engineering
• proven track record in permitting, RTB, procurement, construction, commissioning, COD, or delivery milestones; ideally 20–100 MW+ utility-scale assets
• understanding of BESS, solar, and hybrid asset development, engineering, procurement, construction, and integration into grid and operations
• familiarity with grid connection, permitting, land/site constraints, EPC contracting, supplier selection, planning schedules, capex assumptions, risk management, and project controls
• ability to structure complex technical and commercial topics into clear business, implementation, and decision-making perspectives
• experience leading complex projects, coordinating parallel workstreams, managing stakeholders, and delivering results in interdisciplinary environments
• strong communication with technical experts and senior management; blend of engineering/project development/EPC background with consulting
• entrepreneurial, pragmatic, structured, hands-on; comfortable building a fast-growing topic in a dynamic energy market
