Identify and mitigate contractual and commercial risks across the entire contract lifecycle – from pre-signing to post-signing – to protect the company from losses.
Review, draft, and negotiate contracts to identify legal, commercial, financial, and tax risks.
Flag high-risk clauses (liability, indemnity, penalty, payment terms, acceptance) and propose mitigation.
Lead or support contract negotiations to secure favorable terms and minimize potential losses.
Provide commercial and risk-based advice to business teams.
Monitor contract execution to ensure delivery aligns with contractual commitments.
Identify performance risks (delays, disputes, payment issues) and escalate for resolution.
Manage contract changes, claims, and amendments to avoid defaults or penalties.
Support dispute resolution with focus on non-litigation solutions.
Implement contract management processes and risk tracking mechanisms.
Requirements
5+ years in contract management or commercial management.
End-to-end contract experience (both pre-signing and post-signing).
Strong ability to identify contractual risks and propose mitigation.
Experience with complex or non-standard commercial agreements.
