For Hamburg Headquarters we are recruiting a Senior Corporate Accounting Manager (m/f/d) at Gebr. Heinemann. You will play a central role in our global financial structure of the Heinemann world.
Responsibilities
In particular, you will:
- prepare consolidated financial statements (HGB) for the Heinemann Group, coordinating the Group audit, dealing with special issues and be the first point of contact for the auditors
- support complex accounting and consolidation issues
- keep an eye on developments in legislation and case law on accounting and analyse the possible effects
- assist with the integration of new corporate entities into the group
- optimise consolidation processes and harmonise them together with the controlling team, be the main contact person for our subsidiaries in accounting and reporting matters and prepare the consolidated balance sheets during the year on your own responsibility
- take on sub‑project lead in cross‑divisional projects (e.g. tenders)
Qualifications
- Completed Master's degree in business administration with a focus on accounting
- At least 5 years of experience in group accounting or auditing, ideally in an international environment as well as sound knowledge of accounting and commercial law (HGB)
- Experience with Lucanet or other consolidation systems as well as good SAP and MS Office skills
- Business fluent in written and spoken German and English
- You convince with your independent and solution‑oriented way of working and have already proven your intercultural sensitivity for working with auditors
- You have excellent communication skills, which you use profitably at all hierarchical levels, and drive your topics forward with your assertiveness
