Senior Counsel - Trade Compliance EMEA (m/f/d)

In this role you will strengthen KLA’s global trade compliance program, guiding licensing and due-diligence across regions. You will collaborate with business and corporate teams to resolve import/export issues and implement risk controls. You will advise on regulatory changes, develop policies, and support training to empower cross-functional stakeholders. • Understand trade-compliance goals and challenges in EMEA (Israel, Europe, Middle East) and help implement strategies and controls
• Analyze complex EMEA trade risk, collaborate to develop timely resolution strategies for import/export issues
• Identify deficiencies and draft policies, procedures, checklists, and government communications; assess licensing requirements
• Advise global trade team members, product managers, sales, operations, engineering, and executives
• Coordinate with outside counsel across jurisdictions on trade-compliance matters
• Detect trade-compliance gaps and work with cross-functional teams to implement solutions
• Develop and conduct practical trade-compliance training
• Partner with Global Trade Compliance on operations and strategic matters
• Support M&A due diligence and business integration activities related to trade compliance
• Provide regular communications on legal issues to internal teams for risk mitigation and process development
• Support internal investigations, audits, and risk assessments related to trade compliance
• Occasional travel to domestic and international offices
• Contribute to other projects and strategic opportunities as needed

• Bachelor's Degree with 8+ years of relevant experience, or Master's with 6+ years, or Doctorate with 3+ years
• Experience in a global, cross-functional environment
• Ability to present insights to management
• Willingness to travel occasionally
• Fluent English; German a plus
