Senior Credit & Portfolio Analyst

As an experienced Credit & Portfolio Analyst , become part of our dedicated Credit Team—a well-coordinated unit with colleagues in Hamburg and Sofia.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Independently prepare, evaluate, and present credit proposals to the Credit Committee
• Perform detailed credit analyses, cash flow calculations, and risk/return analyses across various credit classes
• Develop, implement, and continuously optimize analytical models, valuation processes, and reporting standards
• Ongoing monitoring of credit portfolios with a focus on leading indicators and risk drivers
• Close cooperation with portfolio and risk management to ensure consistently high credit quality and regulatory compliance

YOUR PROFILE:

• Degree in economics, finance, mathematics, or comparabl
• At least 5 years of professional experience in credit and portfolio analysis, ideally in the banking sector
• In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements in the European area (EBA guidelines and CRR)
• Experience in factoring is a plus
• Very good Excel skills and experience in building financial models or data‑based analyses
• Excellent communication skills in German and very good written and spoken English
• High analytical skills, reliability, and a structured approach to work
• Ability to present complex financial issues in a clear and understandable manner
