Senior Data Engineer (m/f/d)

Entyre, part of the Entyre Group, is one of the fastest-growing health tech scale-ups in Switzerland and the United States. We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer (m/f/d) to build and scale a modern data platform in our Berlin tech hub. This role focuses on designing, building, and operating the company’s data platform, data infrastructure, and data reliability systems.

We are looking for someone who enjoys designing robust data architectures, building reliable and scalable pipelines, and enabling high‑quality analytics and data‑driven decision making. You’ll join a focused engineering team in Berlin and take responsibility for our core data infrastructure, supporting operations and product teams with trusted, well‑structured data.

Our tech stack includes Python, SQL, Fivetran, BigQuery, Dataform, Sigma, GA4.

What you will work on

Data Engineering

• Design, build, and maintain scalable batch and real‑time data pipelines across multiple sources and systems

Data Architecture

• Develop and evolve our data warehouse/lakehouse architecture with a focus on performance, scalability, and reliability

Data Quality & Reliability

• Implement monitoring, validation, and observability solutions to ensure trustworthy data across the organization

Collaboration

• Work closely with Product, Operations, and Engineering teams to design and maintain scalable data infrastructure that enables self‑service reporting

Ownership

• Take end‑to‑end responsibility for data initiatives, from design and implementation to production rollout and ongoing optimization

Performance Optimization

• Improve data processing efficiency, query performance, and cost‑effectiveness across the platform

About You

• You are passionate about data engineering and solving complex technical data problems
• You have solid experience as a Data Engineer in fast‑paced, data‑driven environments
• You have strong hands‑on experience with Python and SQL
• You have experience with tools such as Fivetran, BigQuery, Dataform, Sigma, GA4
• You have worked with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and modern data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift)
• You understand data modeling, ETL/ELT patterns, and building scalable data systems
• Experience with streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka) is a plus
• Fluency in English is required; German is a plus
