Senior Data Scientist - Rankings & Recommendations (all genders)

In this role you will shape Holidu’s ranking and recommendation systems used by millions of guests. You’ll work end-to-end, from identifying opportunities to shipping production models and measuring impact, collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve search relevance, conversion, and business value. You will push ML innovations, strengthen MLOps, and mentor projects, contributing to a fast-paced, data-driven travel platform. • Develop high-impact ranking, recommendation, and personalization models
• Take models from conception to production and monitor their performance
• Design and run A/B tests to evaluate ranking improvements
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Software Engineers to prioritize and ship improvements
• Ensure production reliability via online/offline agreement, data drift KPIs, latency, and monitoring
• Advance MLOps practices with CI/CD pipelines, retraining workflows, and lineage tracking
• Provide technical leadership by guiding project scoping and prioritization

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist
• Experience on ranking models or recommender systems (strong advantage)
• Degree in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or related field
• Strong foundations in statistics, predictive modeling, and ML techniques
• Proficiency in Python and SQL
• Experience with Airflow and dbt (nice to have)
• Understanding of business operations and translating insights into outcomes
