Senior Data Visualization Developer, Full Stack Developer

Design, develop, and maintain advanced data visualizations and dashboards using Tableau, Power BI, D3.js, or similar platforms
Translate business requirements into effective visual solutions that communicate insights clearly and accurately
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data needs and align visualizations with strategic objectives
Optimize dashboard and report performance and usability for various audiences
Mentor junior developers and contribute to visualization standards and best practices
Stay current with emerging trends in data visualization and analytics technologies
Protect company intellectual property and customer data privacy
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
5+ years of experience in data visualization or BI development
Experience with one or more visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, or Looker
Strong proficiency in SQL and data modeling
Experience with scripting languages such as Python or R and web technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, or CSS is a plus
Excellent communication and storytelling skills to convey data insights effectively
Advanced proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis across large, complex datasets preferred
Hands-on Snowflake expertise, including data modeling, performance tuning, and semi-structured data such as JSON or XML, is a plus
Familiarity with ETL/ELT pipelines and orchestration tools such as SSIS, Apache Airflow, or Azure Data Factory preferred
Understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and scalable analytics best practices preferred
Experience integrating visualization tools with cloud-based data sources and APIs preferred
Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance in cloud environments preferred
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is a plus
Knowledge of UX/UI principles in dashboard design is preferred
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Normal range of hearing and eyesight; ability to use telephone or headset equipment, keyboard, and office equipment
Ability to work at a computer terminal for 6-8 hours per day and function with constant interruptions
Ability to sit for prolonged periods
Infrequent ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 20 lbs.
