Senior Database Administrator (m/f/d)

In this role you will lead the administration, optimization, and migration of enterprise databases. You will work across Windows and Linux environments with Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MSSQL to ensure performance, reliability, and recoverability. You’ll design cloud migration strategies and drive automation to reduce downtime and manual effort. • Administer and optimize Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MSSQL databases on Windows and Linux
• Install, configure, migrate, upgrade, and patch databases
• Deploy and troubleshoot high availability and disaster recovery solutions
• Manage backups and recovery processes using various tools
• Diagnose and resolve database issues to minimize downtime
• Develop automation and maintenance improvements
• Evaluate and recommend cloud-based database migration strategies
• Write complex SQL to support reporting and analytics

• 8+ years of professional database experience
• Deep expertise in database administration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
• Experience migrating data between on-premises and cloud environments
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux platforms
• Familiar with Oracle, PostgreSQL, MSSQL
• Experience with HA/DR, backups, and recovery
• Cloud experience (AWS, Azure) and database migration planning
• Programming/scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash)
• Relevant Computer Science or IT studies and certifications (Oracle or Microsoft)
