Drives meaningful improvements in system reliability and operational efficiency across teams. This role leads embedded SRD engagements, defines and implements service-level objectives (SLOs), and guides incident strategy from prevention to resolution. With deep technical expertise in infrastructure, automation and observability , they reduce organizational toil through scalable tooling and design. Operating with high autonomy, they mentor developers, shape reliability standards, and foster a culture of resilience and continuous improvement.
A Senior Reliability Developer is a technical leader in production operations and infrastructure, capable of driving meaningful improvements across teams and systems. They lead embedded SRE‑style engagements, own complex infrastructure initiatives, and reduce organizational toil through durable tooling and design. They demonstrate strong systems thinking, high autonomy, and help shape the broader reliability culture through mentorship, standards, and incident strategy.
Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of information requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Devises solutions based on limited information and precedent and adapts existing approaches to resolve issues. Uses evaluation, judgment and interpretation to select the right course of action. Work is done independently and is reviewed at critical points. Navigates cross‑team issues and unstructured requirements, providing robust solutions.
