Senior Developer - SAP S/4HANA Sales and Distribution for Disconnected Operations (m/f/d)

In this role you will build mission-critical order-to-cash capabilities for remote, intermittently connected environments. You will own end-to-end SD processes and adapt standard SAP applications to work offline, ensuring data consistency and robust integration. You’ll deliver high-quality ABAP-based solutions using SAP modern tooling and contribute to engineering excellence across globally distributed teams. • Develop order-to-cash capabilities for remote/disconnected environments
• Design and implement end-to-end SD processes (inquiries, quotations, orders, delivery, billing)
• Build with ABAP Objects, ABAP CDS, RAP, OData, SAP Fiori elements, SAPUI5, and S/4HANA extensibility
• Enhance and adapt SD applications, APIs, workflows, and status management for remote execution
• Implement synchronization, data consistency, error handling, and reconciliation between central and disconnected S/4HANA systems
• Deliver functionality from design to testing, release, and production support
• Improve performance, security, upgrade safety, maintainability, and resilience in remote environments

• Strong hands-on ABAP Objects, modern ABAP, ABAP CDS, RAP, OData, APIs, performance-oriented development
• Experience with SAP Fiori elements, SAPUI5, annotations, draft handling, side effects, value helps, authorizations, backend–frontend integration
• Solid knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Sales and Distribution (sales documents, pricing, ATP, delivery, invoicing, document flow, output management)
• Experience integrating SD with MM, WM/EWM, Finance, TM, Business Partner, product master data
• Understanding of distributed-system concepts (synchronization, transactional consistency, retries, conflict handling, offline processing)
• Experience with ABAP Unit, integration testing, test automation, debugging, secure development, agile delivery
