Senior Development Engineer (m/f/d), Karlsruhe (DE)

In our team in Karlsruhe , we are looking forward to your support as a Senior Development Engineer.

Key tasks / Key responsibilities

• Module design and module validation.
• Creation of product documentation, technical specifications, and datasheets.
• Root cause analysis of device failures.
• Cooperation with external subcontractors.
• Support design considerations including yield optimization, manufacturability and design for test.
• Support of production test and product qualification process.
• Support tasks for Marketing and Sales.

Qualifications and Skills

• M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Material Sciences or equivalent areas.
• +8 years of experience in the electronics/semiconductor industry in the area of sensor system development.
• Profound understanding of sensor application development, specialization in flow sensors.
• In-depth understanding of electronic circuit design and module design as well as good understanding of Time-of-Flight measurement principles and ultrasonic flow sensor principles and functionalities.
• Know-how about 3D-printing and moulding tools beneficial.
• Experience with measurement automation and data extraction.
• Good communication & problem-solving skills.
• Specification, presentation and organizational skills.
• Team player.
• Languages: fluent in German and English (spoken and written, at least C1 level).
