The Role

We’re looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and bare metal infrastructure to architect, build, and scale our core infrastructure.

You’ll play a critical role in ensuring our AI-powered platforms are scalable, secure, and highly available —whether deployed in the cloud or on client-owned, on-premise environments.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll design hybrid infrastructure, build robust CI/CD pipelines, and implement best practices across both cloud-native and bare metal systems.

What You’ll Do

• Design and manage infrastructure across AWS, Azure, GCP , and bare metal environments
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, ArgoCD)
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Pulumi, Ansible, CloudFormation, or Bicep
• Design and operate Kubernetes clusters (EKS, AKS, GKE, and self-hosted on bare metal)
• Manage container orchestration, Helm charts, service mesh, and autoscaling
• Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK, CloudWatch)
• Implement security best practices (IAM, secrets management, compliance frameworks)
• Manage databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis) including backup, recovery, and performance
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve deployments and system reliability
• Design and implement disaster recovery and failover strategies
• Automate operational workflows using Python, Bash, or Go

What We’re Looking For

• 7+ years experience in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Infrastructure
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, and GCP
• Experience with bare metal / on-prem infrastructure
• Expert knowledge of Kubernetes and container ecosystems
• Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code tools
• Strong CI/CD pipeline experience for complex systems
• Solid Linux, networking, and system administration skills
• Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, etc.)
• Strong understanding of security, encryption, and compliance (SOC2, ISO 27001, GDPR)
• Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, Go)
• Experience with GitOps tools (ArgoCD, Flux)
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with AI/ML infrastructure or MLOps
• Knowledge of FinOps / cloud cost optimization
• Certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP, CKA/CKAD)
• Experience with serverless architectures
• Experience with n8n (used in our AI agent workflows)

Hybrid (Berlin-based, primarily on-site)

While we offer flexibility, this is an office-first role . Our CTO and core engineering team are based in Berlin, and we strongly value in-person collaboration, mentorship, and fast decision-making .
