Senior Digital ASIC Design Engineer (m/f/d)

As a Digital ASIC Design Engineer at Advantest, you will own end-to-end development of digital and full-custom ASIC modules for state-of-the-art testers. You’ll work closely with system architects, software, and hardware teams to translate requirements into robust designs and silicon-ready implementations. You will tackle challenging digital design, verification, and integration tasks that impact cutting-edge semiconductor testing. This role offers strong ownership and the chance to influence next-generation test solutions.

• Requirements gathering and IP elicitation
• Architecture development for CMOS IP designs
• RTL coding of digital modules and full-custom blocks
• Module and chip-level verification including test plans
• Documentation of implemented functionality
• Support for floor-planning and physical design
• Cross-functional collaboration with other teams

• University degree, Diploma or BS in Electrical Engineering
• Digital design experience in SOC/ASIC design methodologies and silicon development cycle
• RTL coding experience (Verilog)
• Experience with standard simulation tools for digital designs
• Basic UNIX/Linux knowledge and programming languages
• Strong communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills
• English language proficiency
