(Senior) Digital Engineering Consultant (d/f/m)

In this role you will drive digital engineering initiatives at the intersection of engineering, digital transformation, and manufacturing excellence. You’ll collaborate with international teams to optimize product lifecycles from ideation to in-service use, leveraging digital twins and AI. You design and implement tailored transformation roadmaps for engineering, partnering with clients to turn strategies into measurable impact. • Own interdisciplinary and international R&D and engineering projects, aligning with customer management and extending into manufacturing
• Analyze customer needs and identify innovative digital transformation solutions across R&D, engineering, product development and management
• Design, develop, and implement tailored digital transformation strategies and roadmaps for engineering
• Coordinate Siemens stakeholders to address customer challenges and implement strategic roadmaps
• Optimize end-to-end value chains across industries such as automotive, industrial manufacturing, and medical technology
• Proactively anticipate future needs and strengthen the consulting portfolio continuously

• MSc, MEng, PhD, or Dr.-Ing in engineering (e.g., mechanical engineering, mechatronics) or equivalent with substantial applicable experience
• Experience in digital engineering and digital twins, including industry exposure and understanding of PLM processes
• Consulting experience guiding customers on digital transformation journeys
• Ability to combine strategic thinking with hands-on consulting to design and implement PLM and digital engineering solutions delivering business impact
• International exposure through career, studies, or internships
• Willingness to travel for international consulting projects
• English fluency at C1 level; German is a plus
