Senior Director, International Markets – Quick Commerce Performance (all genders)

Join the International Markets team to shape Delivery Hero’s strategy across global markets, driving value, profitability, and growth through impactful projects and decisive execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Retail media acceleration: develop and implement a framework to unlock monetization potential with a large, loyal customer base, deepening penetration into the CPG and advertising agency segments.
• Logistics efficiencies: analyze last‑mile and middle‑mile operations to identify opportunities for optimizing picking times, delivery density, and fleet utilization, reducing cost per order.
• Long‑tail vendor negotiations: overhaul partner management by creating high‑volume, automated or centralized negotiation frameworks to improve margins and streamline assortment.
• Organizational benchmarking: compare performance and organizational structures across geographies to identify best practices and industrialize successful ways of working globally.
• Execute the transformation roadmap: lead the team through pilot to global scale across the three intervention areas.
• Influence and align senior leadership: partner with Country COO’s and secure consensus on change initiatives across diverse cultures.
• Performance accountability: own performance outcomes, moving beyond KPI tracking to driving initiatives that deliver results.
• Navigate ambiguity and clarify action: provide clear, actionable steps in a decentralized organization, distilling complex problems into structured project plans.
• Team leadership: manage a core team in Berlin, coaching them to execute under high pressure.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in e‑commerce, operations, logistics, or management consulting with a proven record of driving change in a hands‑on capacity.
• Ability to navigate a complex global matrix, collaborating effectively with regional leaders while driving results.
• Strong execution mindset with the skill to turn messy organizational challenges into structured, actionable plans.
• Data‑driven: capacity to use benchmarking to generate urgency and roadmap lagging markets.
