Senior Director Product Management Surgical Imaging (m/f/d)

In this role you steer the Video Product Technology Management portfolio, ensuring technical and regulatory excellence across the product life cycle. You work with Strategy, Innovation, and Solution Management to set the portfolio direction and ensure market relevance for the next 3–5 years. As a leader, you develop senior teams, promote a culture of compliance and technical excellence, and drive innovation from concept to product development. You will bridge internal teams and external stakeholders while upholding MDR/FDA compliance and cyber security standards.

• Assume technical management for the Video Product Technology Management portfolio and oversee specification development for imaging and OR integration products.
• Ensure global portfolio performance across the entire life cycle and maintain regulatory integrity and innovative strength.
• Define strategic portfolio direction in collaboration with Strategy & Innovation Excellence and Solution Management.
• Lead and develop senior directors and their teams; foster a culture of technical excellence and compliance.
• Ensure market-leading technical specifications and global regulatory compliance (MDR, FDA) and continuous improvement of technical documentation.
• Act as central interface between Solutions and CRD teams and other stakeholders; represent Product Technology Management in management forums.
• Drive innovation and ensure tech impulses are transferred to product development and solution management.

• 10-15 years of experience in a technical industry, ideally medical technology
• 3-5 years in a management role leading upstream or technical downstream functions
• Knowledge of AI and innovation trends
• Strong cross-functional leadership; deep knowledge of clinical applications, medical devices and technologies
• Excellent conflict management, risk management and communication skills
• Excellent written and spoken English
