Senior Director, Strategy & Business Development

Learn established processes for market work and deal execution
Drive process improvement through the Veralto Enterprise System (VES)
Conduct primary, proprietary market research on adjacent and non-adjacent spaces
Serve as project leader for target company diligence
Build an M&A funnel and drive executive stakeholder decision-making
Communicate the business levers defining winning and losing
Oversee near-, mid-, and long-term target relationships
Partner with Veralto Corporate Development to execute deals
Facilitate the Strategic Planning Process and group-level strategy discussions
Work with operating company leadership, Veralto Strategy and Corporate Development, and executive leadership
Support strategic direction and inorganic buildout of the Product Quality & Innovation segment

Requirements

7+ years evaluating market attractiveness and strategic fit of new businesses, markets, or domains
Experience comprising both top-tier consulting and PE/in-house MNC environments
Software/SaaS/AI or industrial sector exposure highly advantageous
Significant standalone M&A due diligence experience as an individual contributor (>5 deals minimum; >10 preferred)
Exceptional interpersonal, relationship management, and influencing skills
Ability to lead teams through influence and personally drive work
Strong presentation and storytelling skills
Ability to synthesize core insights for executive stakeholders
Substantial experience and/or formal education developing deep domain and/or industry understanding
Undergraduate degree and a top-tier MBA
Willingness to travel 30%
